Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Salad & Sandwich Maker to join our kitchen team in Qatar. The role involves handling food preparation across various stations, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety procedures, and maintaining high standards in food presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Handle the preparation of salads, sandwiches, and other menu items, including tasks at the fry, pasta, grill, salad, and sandwich stations.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area, following food safety procedures and the “Clean as You Go” (CLAYGO) principle.
- Food Safety Procedures: Adhere to food safety procedures, check expiry dates, and ensure proper food handling practices.
- Temperature Checks: Monitor and check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Stock Management: Order, receive, and stock supplies or retail products as needed.
- Consistency: Follow recipes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation of food items.
- Team Profile: Exhibit the SHARP team member profile – Service First, High Energy, Appreciative, Respectful, and Passionate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in handling salads and sandwiches.
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Experience in working across various kitchen stations (fry, pasta, grill, salad, sandwich).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
