Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer with extensive experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plants to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications and possess strong English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management:
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
- Prepare and maintain safety records and reports.
- Training and Support:
- Provide safety training and guidance to employees.
- Assist in emergency response planning and incident investigation.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Ensure that all safety documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH (IGC Levels – 1, 2 & 3), IOSH, OSHA, and Diploma in HSE.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plants.
- Language Skills:
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Additional Requirements:
- Passport must be at least 3 years valid and ECNR.
- Police clearance (if required).
