Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Runner to join our dining team in Qatar. The Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of food service between the kitchen and the dining area, enhancing the overall dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Coordination:
- Coordinate the service of food with the rest of the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the kitchen to address and resolve any issues promptly.
- Food Quality:
- Ensure that the ordered food is fresh, correct, and presented accurately.
- Teamwork:
- Work harmoniously with waiters and cooks to facilitate efficient service.
- Be attentive to the waiter and supervisor to handle customer requests and special needs.
- Station Maintenance:
- Keep service stations clean, well-stocked, and organized.
- Handle pre-bussing and table cleaning to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Polish silverware and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Payment Handling:
- Deliver checks and accept payments from customers accurately.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other staff members to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a dining/customer service environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure food accuracy and quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
