Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to support the implementation and successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will assist Project Managers in overseeing medium to large-scale projects or critical components of larger projects, ensuring timely delivery within set budgets and standards. The Project Supervisor will manage day-to-day team activities, ensuring adherence to company protocols and contributing to team morale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers and Project Officers in the field, ensuring smooth implementation of projects.
- Supervise medium to large projects or significant components of more extensive projects.
- Oversee and manage daily activities of project assistants and coordinators, handling associated administrative duties.
- Ensure documentation of project activities is completed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in the successful completion of projects within established timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain professionalism in all team, client, and public interactions, upholding company values and reputation.
- Ensure project site records and summaries are appropriately documented and submitted to the archive team in line with company procedures.
- Foster a positive team environment and support team morale.
- Direct the work of multi-disciplinary project teams, providing appropriate guidance, encouragement, and feedback.
- Oversee all aspects of projects, ensuring they meet company and client standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in project supervision, preferably in a multi-disciplinary or construction/engineering setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide and motivate project teams.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with project documentation and adherence to company procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in a related field is preferred.
