Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in KSA. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical products and systems. You will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses, producing mathematical models, and ensuring the structural integrity and performance of components through various engineering techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Organization: Assist in identifying and organizing engineering requirements, applying relevant usability procedures and principles.
- Design and Development: Analyze, design, develop, and maintain mechanical products and assist in their commercialization.
- Mathematical Modeling: Produce analyses and mathematical models, drawing design conclusions based on those models.
- Geometric Dimensioning: Utilize knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in creating detailed drawings.
- Technical Reviews: Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, and other artifacts. Contribute to design standards and support design re-use.
- Structural Analysis: Analyze the effects of combined loading (burst/collapse + tension/compression) on sealing and structural components. Determine and analyze critical sections of all downhole equipment components in various load conditions.
- Finite Element Analysis: Conduct structural analysis of components and products using finite element analysis tools.
- Tolerance Stack Analysis: Perform tolerance stack analyses to confirm the interaction and function of both static and dynamic parts.
- Team Guidance: Assign, direct, and review the work of technicians. Provide guidance to engineers and mentor junior engineers as required.
- Engineering Evaluation: Continually evaluate engineering approaches and risks, adopting new practices to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Technical Familiarity: Maintain familiarity with company technology, organization, and business, and stay updated with novel technical concepts and markets.
- Project Input: Provide input to project planning, scheduling, and execution of iterations.
- System Design: Design systems and components that meet specified needs and requirements.
- Experimentation: Conduct experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and test theoretical designs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, development, and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical design analysis and finite element analysis tools.
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, as well as mathematical modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in structural and tolerance stack analyses.
- Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams effectively.
- Experience in project planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
